Sources of “Red Water”

These water sources are in the north-western part of Janjevë/Janjevo and the characteristic is the color of the substrate from which the water originates, which has a dark red color.
It is thought that the red color of the substrate of this location derives from the presence of various minerals since Janjevë/Janjevo is known worldwide for its ore wealth and its mines which date back to the Middle Ages.
