Overview
The Gadime Cave is a very important natural monument, which is located in the village of Gadime near Lipjan/Lipljan, Kosovë/Kosovo, and is 1500 meters long. For tourists, only the first 1300 meters of the cave are open for use, as the rest of the cave is still not possible to visit due to the lack of investment and proper infrastructure.
The cave has several levels (three of which are known), the middle level is open to visitors, the lowest level is underwater and the upper level consists mainly of narrow corridors and galleries which
are also unregulated and without supporting infrastructure. During the summer the temperature inside the cave is constant at 13 degrees Celsius and during the winter 11-13 degrees.
The rare crystals that are found in this cave are not found in many countries of the world, therefore these crystals are also of European value, from the size of the growth of the crystal in one cm for 30,000 years, it means that the cave was created before 80,000 years.
